philosophy
As a performer and singer herself, Trish understands that your headshot needs to represent you - not a glamorized, artificial representation of you. Knowing the artifice of a studio session might unknowingly intimidate a client, Trish prefers location shooting using natural lighting. She takes the time to put the client at ease, knowing a relaxed photo session directly translates to a better finished product.
background
Trish opened her studio after years of taking headshots for friends and colleagues. Eventually, she started taking photos for local theatre companies and for her family's conservatory productions (Pineda Conservatory of the Performing Arts).
Trish has a degree in vocal performance from Virginia Commonwealth University and also studied voice at UNC Greensboro's School of Music. As a student in Fashion Merchandising at VCU, Trish honed her artistic eye and developed her unique fashion style.
Trish has also performed extensively on the concert stage and regionally with orchestras, in musical theatre and opera. Her dual perspective - from both onstage and behind the camera - makes her uniquely qualified to provide photos that will get you noticed.
